Apartments. Movies. Furniture. Cars. These are all necessities for a citizen of the United States to have a stable life, but property is becoming harder to own permanently: Subscription models are the new gold-standard for American Capitalism, and this  model benefits the class of ownership by guaranteeing them the ability to reap endless profit; and should one be not able to pay, they can end ownership immediately. This gives an incredible amount of uncheck powers to businesses while keeping the working class poor and at the mercy of the those in charge; which has only gotten worse under the 2024 administration has refused to increase the federal minimum wage.
